Jan Schorpion

I live in Conshohocken, PA ( 20 min NW of Philadelphia) with my wife Missy who will also be racing this race. This will be sort of a homecoming race for us since we used to live in Florida until last year.
A lot of our training was done indoors so hopefully biking outside will not be too much of a shock.
I did this race in 2012 and watched Lance Armstrong dominate before he was suspended. I am looking to improve on my time of 5:38, but that was before my time with EN and I was just trying to swim, bike, run as much as I could for my workouts.

Melissa Schorpion

I live in Conshohocken with my husband Jan, who is also racing with Team EN. I have always had a love for running, but began participation in triathlons about 4 years ago. This is my third half-ironman, but my first one with Team EN. After a long and snowy winter, I am looking forward to the warm weather and sunshine this race has to offer. I am a Florida native and am looking forward to racing in my home state. Hoping for a great time, that reflects the effort I have put into training!

Paula Nystrom

I am from South Florida (Ft. Lauderdale area) and have been involved in Triathlons to some degree for 5-6 years. I did this race 2 years ago (pre-EN), and between nutrition and back issues really suffered. My goal for race day is to kick butt over my previous time. I have done so much core work that my back is almost a non issue when running now. With everything I have learned from EN and doing IM Cozumel in December this should be a much better experience for me.
