Team Endurance Nation is stepping it up this year, with more members representing the Team in more races! This Saturday we’ll see members heading to St. George, Utah to race at 2014 Ironman® 70.3® St. George. The weather is going to be mostly sunny and HOT! With temps topping out in the 90s, hydration and nutrition are going to play huge factors in the race. Let’s meet the members of Team Endurance Nation taking on the challenge.
Mark Cardinale
My name is Mark Cardinale and i’m from Parker, Colorado. I’ve been with EN going on two years. I’m happily married and have 2 children, Lucas and Sophia. I raced St. George last year and i’m excited to be coming back. It’s a beautiful and challenging course and i’m looking forward to kicking off the season and to being in some warmer weather. My goals this year start with solid execution and i’m hopeful with some improved fitness that I may be able to take some time off the table from last years race. Also, this year I age up to the 45-49 age group, but i’ve been told they only get faster so we’ll see how things go! Beyond that i’m excited to see some familiar and some new faces in St. George!
Brent Bills
I am from St. George Utah. I have been running Triathlons since 2001. I completed my first 70.3® in 2003. I am just looking to finish this year, work/life has kept me from training appropriately for the event.
James Barrett
I am actualy kinda a newbie 3 years young in the sport but background is running in highschool. My friend got me back into sports a few years ago with a local 10 mile run and a small sprint triathlon prior to 1 olympic then a full in st george now I’m hooked. Ironman® defines me. I’m not the fastest nor the slowest but i love what it does for me in my life. Haven’t met a bad tri athlete yet . I love belonging to this group of dedicated real life people. Thanks for all your contributions.

Stephanie Stevens
I will be driving to St George from Littleton, Colorado. I’ve been doing long course triathlons for the past 4-5 years and have a busy race schedule this year.
This is my third year returning to St George, and I had initially hoped to do better than last year. But, my season this year has been very hit or miss with my workouts due to injuries, work and general life-stress. So I am now approaching this race with the intention of being smart and enjoying the day out there.
Really looking forward to seeing everyone out there on the course!
