Staying Healthy in a Tough Season
It’s been a brutal season for colds, flu, and sinus infections, and I know many of you are feeling it. This past week, I’ve been battling one myself, living about six inches underground, just trying to breathe. If you’re sick, the best thing you can do is rest. Seriously—consider this your official permission to hit pause. Think of it as the universe telling you that now is not the time to push the gas pedal. Instead, recover fully, catch up on Netflix, and when you do come back, take that first week easy. Training will still be there when you’re ready.
OutSeason Transitions & Early Season Training
We’re at a transition point: our November OutSeason athletes are finishing up and heading into recovery mode, while January OutSeason folks are hitting their stride. As we move towards spring (even if it feels far away), it’s time to start thinking about how to adjust your training.
If you’re shifting to outdoor sessions, be smart about it. Pay attention to weather conditions, daylight, and temperature swings. A great way to ease in? Start by getting outside on weekends, when your schedule is more flexible. No need to force things too soon—just get comfortable with the shift and gradually work your way into regular-season training.

Gear, Plans & What’s Ahead
On the gear front, we’re finalizing the new cycling kit. The colors are dialed in, but the lettering still needs a tweak. We’ll get that sorted and have the order button ready soon!
For training, I’m excited to roll out the 2025 Half and Full plans. We’ve updated the Run Focus, Bike Focus, and Balanced plans to make sure they align with the latest training strategies. These updates also include improvements to midweek interval work—perfect for those of you on indoor trainers or in warmer climates looking to fine-tune your sessions.
Looking ahead, we’ve got some great team events on the horizon:

- Spring Classics Camp in Belgium—For those of you itching for an epic early-season cycling challenge.
- Tuscany Adventure—A chance to ride, explore, and soak in some Italian scenery.
- Gravel & Unbound Race Resources—I’m putting together an info package to help athletes get the most out of these epic events.
